PlotDiary 3.0.0 Arrives!
The biggest update to PlotDiary yet: your stories no longer live on a single canvas. Split them into episodes, seasons, or chapters—each with its own independent cast of characters and relationships.
Why This Update Matters
Long stories get messy fast. A cast of 20+ characters across a whole season used to mean one giant, cluttered canvas. Now every episode gets its own clean space—without losing the ability to reuse characters you've already built.
What's New
- Create as many episodes as you need. Click the "+" tab to add a new episode, season, or chapter. Double-click any tab to rename it—call it "Episode 1", "Season 2", or whatever fits your story.
- Each episode is fully independent. Characters, connections, and notes in one episode never affect another—so you can safely evolve a relationship differently across chapters without breaking anything.
- Import characters between episodes. Already created Batman in Episode 1? Import him straight into Episode 5 with one click—no need to recreate him from scratch. Each imported copy stays independent, so changes in one episode won't affect the other.
